Principals Welcome

Pinnaroo Primary School serves a rural community, living in the environmentally unique and sensitive Mallee region of South Australia. The school is approximately 250km east of Adelaide, lying 4km west of the Victorian border. The township of Pinnaroo has a population of approximately 800 people with 1200 residing within the district boundary.

Welcome to the Pinnaroo community.

We are small country school with ambitious goals for each and every student. Our staff are committed to both our local community and delivering world-class education in a caring rural environment. Our beautiful Mallee inspires much of our integrated learning phases, with regular opportunities to connect to local industry and conservation endeavours.

We invest in our teaching team to maintain our enviable small class sizes and close authentic relationships. The teaching team is made up of local and tenured teachers and learning assistants who bring diverse experiences to our professional learning community.
Our values are courage, leadership and respect. We hope that by living these values, we can build in our young people; an appreciation of service to our community, the courage to commit to life-long learning and the respect to protect and include those around us in that experience.

We would love to get to know you.
