Parent Information

Pinnaroo Primary School serves a rural community, living in the environmentally unique and sensitive Mallee region of South Australia. The school is approximately 250km east of Adelaide, lying 4km west of the Victorian border. The township of Pinnaroo has a population of approximately 800 people with 1200 residing within the district boundary.

School Facilities

Buildings and Grounds
Our school is located on spacious grounds including multiple playgrounds, an indoor gymnasium, a large grassed oval, tennis courts, swimming pool, community library, kitchen, garden, STEM unit and an environment centre.

Community Library
The library is located on school grounds with joint community use. It offers a wide range of resources to borrow and provides access to collections from libraries all over South Australia.

 

Bus Transport

Students living more than 5 kms from our school have access to school bus routes. Please ask the office for more information.

 

Out of School Hours Care

Before and after school care is provided by Mallee COGS childcare service, they adjoin the school site. Contact COGS for more information on 0428 763 972.

 

Pastoral Care

Additional classroom support, Garden Club, lunchtime activities, and Breakfast Club are just some of the services provided by Pastoral Care at our school. Breakfast Club is offered every Wednesday morning in the kitchen from 8.30 am.

 

Lunch Orders

All students can order lunch once per week through our school lunch order system.
Bags are available from the office, payment can be made by card, cash or EFT.
Students can select from the following items:
Pie, Pasty, Sausage Roll – all $4.50
Cheese Kransky – $5.50
